Hello,

Thank you guys for taking time to read through this and help me out. I am a brand new PC gamer so this is my first attempt and getting things set up. I've spent the past few days reading forums and watching YouTube tutorials and now I am just stumped. Here is the full story summarized, I first downloaded 'Skyrim' used Vortex to install Deviously Cursed Loot and a couple other small mods and the game worked to an extent (no T pose) but some suits wouldn't load etc. so then I read online that "overall" updating to Skyrim SE would be better so I downloaded Skyrim SE, and have now returned to Deviously Cursed Loot, but when I go to install it I get an error message:

Errors were reported processing the installer for "Deviously Cursed Loot SE 8.4 Rev 4".

Installer Prerequisites not fulfilled: File 'devious devices - assets.esm' is Active

File 'sexlabaroused.esm' is Active

File 'devious devices - integreation.esm' is Active

File 'deviouc devices - expansion.esm' is Active

With the first installation on Skyrim it seemed like there were more files that I installed but I am assuming the SE version doesn't based off it's requirements? I have NO clue how to fix this. I have googled similar things, but haven't found anything to help. I have done these things to try and help:

1. Restart computer lol

2. Reinstall the Mods

3. Delete mod files from 'Skyrim' data folder

4. Restart Vortex

I am not sure what to do at this point. I read that some people reverted back to an older version of Vortex and that fixed thier issue? Thank you for the help !

What you have done so far does not help - and is not the way to proceed.

Read the mod description again. The requirements are listed at the end, with links. Devious Devices SE is one.

Install those, Deploy, and check your Plugins tab to make sure they are enabled.

Edited to add: Don't ever delete mods from the game folder. That can actively mess you up, when Vortex merges the deletions back into your mod staging folder.

Which drive do you have Steam installed on?
I hope it's not the default of Program Files (x86)

Uh... yeah.. I'm assuming I shouldn't? I am new so yeah I've mostly tried reading and tutorials to understand what needs to be done. I did notice that most people had it on a D drive though.

Also when I go to download the Devious Devices SE I get the same error essentially except it says:

Errors were reported processing the installer for "Deviously Cursed Loot SE 8.4 Rev 4".

Installer Prerequisites not fulfilled: File 'sexlabaroused.esm' is Active

That particular error sounds like you're trying to install a mod that is dependant on another mod that you don't have installed.

Also, what AntiVirus are you using?
Windows Defender?

Why don't you read the description and install instruction for those Sexlab mods to see if there are special instructions for installation, because it sounds like that is the main source of your problems

I don't want to get in trouble by posting a link to a frowned-on site, but it is not hard to find "Sexlab Aroused Redux SSE".

Just Google that text. And install it.
